Curriculum
The curriculum has been planned to meet the needs of 2 1/2, 3, 4 and 5 year old children. The two and a half year olds focus on using hands-on exploration and social interaction in a safe, engaging environment to help them learn about their expanding world. Through the guidance of the teacher, toddlers enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence. Three year olds focus on the world around them, socialization and beginning school skills. 4 and 5 year olds continue to work on socialization and school readiness skills, in addition to further developing kindergarten readiness skills. Our teachers follow the Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning Content Standards with units of work which require understanding and logic. Activities are integrated and hands-on in a learning center classroom arrangement.
